Green Tea Kombucha Vinaigrette

Make this easy, tasty vinaigrette packed with probiotics in less than 5 minutes

A smiple green tea kombucha vinaigrette is the perfect detox meal to kick off the new year.

When we thought up this green tea kombucha vinaigrette, admittedly we  thought it sounded a little crazy. We asked ourselves, can kombucha really work in savoury cooking? Were we bending the rules a little too far?

Well there was only one way to find out! We were surprised that the conclusion was yes- in fact it works really well. Fresh, vibrant, tangy, and perfectly balanced, this vinaigrette is sure to add some pizzazz to your next salad. Follow this simple recipe below to whip up a batch of kombucha vinaigrette for yourself. We used The Craft Tea Brew Co’s Lightning McGreen kombucha. Grab yours here.

Ingredients: (makes about 6 servings)

  • 1 cup kombucha (We used Lightning McGreen)
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 Tbs Agave (or honey)
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1 tsp English mustard (optional)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a  jar. Cover and shake until everything is well combined.
  2. Separation of the oil and kombucha is normal after it sits for some time, so give it a shake before pouring.
